Progress in relation to creation of sales pool (18/12/06)
Wine Investment Services has previously advised that it intends to create a sales pool for the efficient sale of investors wines.
In doing so, Wine Investment Services is looking at a combination of sales techniques including hand sells to potential buyers, online and other wine auctions and distribution of investors wines through the wholesale channels established by Blue Hills.
Wine Investment Services can report that it is making good progress with the sales strategy and is looking forward to unveiling it early in the new year.
Its strategy will include determining premium loadings on the auction values that are published on the WAM system and the mixing of cases for sale to the on premise industry so that lesser known brands are stapled to the sale of better known brands to prevent investors having their portfolios cherry picked.
